The treble is not as bright-sounding, relatively veiled, but ideal for loud volume listening. The earbuds are skewed towards the dark side, well-suited for listeners who prefer a rounder sound signature with heavier bass feel at slow decay. Overall control is a little laggy, about 1 second reaction time, but volume control takes the longest: I need to press and hold for about 2 seconds before the volume gets changed. Hold the right earbud touch sensor to increase volume, and the left to decrease volume. I like the touch operation controls: double tap the right earbud to skip next track, double tap the left earbud to skip previous track. See below comparison with other earbuds on the design: the Elite is one of the smallest earbuds, and the second cheapest. A little “teardrop” extension sits the mic for design character. This design also makes the earbud look compact. They fit in my ears comfortably and securely, because the middle section of the earbud is fatter than the outside, contoured to fill the ear walls snugly, and that acts as a stabilizer to keep the earbuds in the ears. The magnetic dock holds the earbuds tightly, and initially I felt it was difficult to remove them from the case, until I find a quick-and-effective method, which is to use the index finger, pull the earbud from the top and outwards to detach it from the magnet. The case and the earbuds are coated with a matt finish. The specs seem to closely resemble the PaMu Slide I reviewed a while back, at a much lower price, albeit shorter battery and a smaller case for more compact storage. Popular bookstores is also selling at a special launch price S$79.90 with a free wireless charging pad, till 31 Dec.Īt this price, could you expect any good specs to come out of it? Apparently, yes! Let’s break it down: A Singapore brand by Lend Me UR Ears located at The Adelphi #04-16, the Alpha & Delta Elite is their latest “flagship” true-wireless earbuds with a recommended retail price of S$99. I have reviewed several Alpha & Delta earphone products over the years.
